Naturopathic medicine is a primary health care system that combines western medicine with natural and more traditional forms of medicine. The goal of naturopathic medicine is to determine and treat the root cause of disease. Naturopathic doctors do this by spending lots of time with their patients, gathering as much information about their health and health care goals as possible, and developing treatment plans that are integrative, realistic, and sustainable.

I was drawn to naturopathic medicine by the special focus that this health care system has on individualized care. Everyone is different and treatments should reflect that! Naturopathic doctors use a lot of diet and lifestyle modifications, supplements, botanical medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and hydrotherapy, among many other modalities. Naturopathic medicine is also very collaborative, and you’ll find that many naturopathic doctors are open to working closely with other health care practitioners to develop optimal treatment plans for patients.

I have always been passionate about health and wellness, and fell in love with being active at a very young age. I was always involved in extracurricular sports and activities, but it wasn’t until I got older that I decided to pursue a career in health care.

As a naturopathic doctor, I am excited to work with people towards achieving their health care goals. I am fascinated by the complexity and resilience of the human body and look forward to educating people about health and wellness, while contributing to a community where people can feel comfortable exploring their own health. I have special interests in gut and skin health, hormonal health, endocrine health, fertility concerns, sports medicine, and pain management. The thing that drew me to naturopathic medicine was that there is a special focus on individualized care. Everyone is different and treatments should reflect that! Our diversity is something to be valued, appreciated, and celebrated. I’m always excited to meet new people!
